The Details

The Department of Cannabis Control’s Cannabis Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Members will receive an overview of the current licensing fee structure and potential options for structural updates. The Department is seeking input from committee members and members of the public.

CAC members will also discuss and vote on approval on the CAC’s Annual Report to the Legislature.

The Department looks forward to a robust conversation and public input to support meaningful regulatory updates that benefit all Californians.

The CAC is established in statute to advise the Department on the development of standards, best practices, and regulations that protect public health and safety and advance a safer, sustainable, equitable, and well-regulated cannabis market.
