Vitura Health chief financial officer and company secretary Tom Howitt has resigned after seven years in the role.

Howitt, who will leave the company in January, became Vitura’s founding CFO in December 2018, when it was Cronos Australia, before adding company secretary to his title in August 2020.

He also served as acting chief executive following the exit of Rodney Cocks at the end of the 2024 financial year.

Howitt will leave the company in January.

Vitura chairman Robert Iervasi praised Howitt for his contribution to the company, having played key roles in the merger of Cronos and CDA Health in 2020, the recent acquisitions of Doctors on Demand and Livelihood Health and the creation of the Flora Holdings joint venture.

“His leadership and expertise have been integral to the company’s growth, from its ASX listing to a series of strategic acquisitions that expanded our national footprint,” he said. “We wish him the very best for the next chapter of his career.”

Recruitment is underway for Howitt’s successor.
