Oppenhoff expands healthcare with Franziska Katterbach as a new partner

Oppenhoff has appointed Franziska Catterbach as a partner in its Healthcare/M&A department, Frankfurt office, effective 1 October 2024. She was previously the Managing Director of Khiron Life Sciences – a manufacturer, distributor and operator of clinics – where she developed the European business.

Franziska Katterbach is a healthcare professional with many years of experience, particularly in the cannabis sector. After completing her law degree, she began working at Dentons where she provided legal guidance on international transactions in the life sciences industry. Franziska Katterbach began her career in 2018 as Director of Legal, Europe at Canopy Growth Corporation, before joining Khiron Life Sciences. She navigated the European business at both companies through the highly regulated narcotics industry.
