2025-04-15 | The Tagesschau reports in a video about the destruction of an approved cultivation facility of the cannabis club “High Life” in Hagen (NRW) by the police. The local Ministry of the Interior is now examining possible claims for damages amounting to 270,000 euros, according to the Westfalenpost. It is the first known case of its kind. The law does not provide for the police authorities to be automatically informed about licensed systems in order to comply with data protection regulations. According to the report, the ministry announced that it had once again made the police authorities aware of the issue, but refused to make an assessment before the investigations had been completed.
