While he was in the police station because he was stopped with drugs, under the pretense of wanting to inform his trusted lawyer, he instead messaged his grandmother asking her to make the stuffed toy containing drugs disappear.

It was during a routine check that a 22-year-old from Sant’Arpino, already known to the authorities, was found in possession of hashish and cocaine. The local Carabinieri stopped him on Via De Gasperi, in Sant’Arpino, while he was in the company of an 18-year-old from Orta di Atella. The two, who immediately showed discomfort with the check, were subjected to a personal search, during which the 22-year-old was found in possession of a cigarette pack containing 3 sticks of hashish totaling 6.6 grams and a cellophane bag containing a few grams of cocaine, which the young man unsuccessfully tried to claim was for personal use.

Given the division of the hashish into sticks and the additional different narcotic substance found in his possession, which was not compatible with what the young man claimed, the Carabinieri decided to extend the search to his home. During this search, inside a drawer of the desk in his room, they found and seized an additional 6 sticks and fragments of hashish wrapped in cellophane weighing a total of 16.6 grams, as well as 6.6 grams of cocaine, two precision scales, the plates of which were found to be smeared with the two aforementioned types of drugs, and cash totaling 700 euros in small denominations.

It was when he was then taken to the station that the young man, under the pretense of wanting to inform his trusted lawyer, instead messaged his grandmother asking her to make the stuffed toy containing more drugs disappear.

This detail did not escape the Carabinieri, who immediately returned to his home where, faced with the evidence, the elderly woman pointed out to the officers a gutter of the house where she had just hidden the stuffed toy containing 42 grams of marijuana. The 22-year-old was arrested and placed under house arrest.
