Thato & I discuss his work on cannabis testing in the South African workspace

We discuss his research of other jurisdictions around the world,  Canada, UK, Australia & New Zealand and how some of their solutions / approaches may work in the South African context.

Thato will be talking about his research at the Cape Town International Cannabis Symposium 25-27 on the following panel

Thato studied Bachelor of Laws, Postgraduate Diplomate in Labour Law, and Master Degree at the University of Johannesburg. He is currently pursuing PhD at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Thato Lentsoe is a law lecturer at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, with the area of interest in Labour Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights.

In the early phase of academia, his research interest focused on “workplace drug testing jurisprudence” recommending South African employers to adopt rational drug testing systems for purposes of testing cannabis.
