LCB Board Action: Sales of Cannabis Waste Rules Finalized
On March 12, 2025, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following cannabis-related action:
Final Rules Adopted – Effective April 13, 2025:
The Board adopted final rules (CR 103) to amend WAC 314-55-097 to implement Substitute Senate Bill 5376 (chapter 243, Laws of 2024) which allows cannabis producer and processor licensees to sell cannabis plant waste material to persons who are not cannabis licensees under certain conditions.
