Excited to share that I will be speaking on a panel at AIHEF in Bangkok and sharing the stage with some amazing people: Anthony Traurig, Olivia Ewenike, LL.M. (Compliance), and Richard Barge.

I will be discussing how a well-regulated Thai cannabis industry could become a global medical supplier and catalyst for reform across Asia. However, Thailand’s current approach—rescheduling without proper regulation—limits Thailand’s access to global medical cannabis markets and risks becoming a cautionary tale that prohibitionists will exploit to justify restrictions. As more countries advance cannabis liberalization policies, evolving applications of international law may create legal avenues for Thailand to access not only medical and scientific markets but also emerging adult-use and wellness markets beyond the narrow confines of the existing UN drug conventions.
