Background: The Hemp Industry Trade Association of Arizona will share the next steps in their lawsuit against the Arizona  Attorney General’s Office. Last week, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Randall Warner set May 9, 2025, for hearings to begin on a court order for injunctive relief stopping the Attorney General’s Office enforcement. The lawsuit asks the court to uphold the correct and longstanding legal interpretation that built Arizona’s federally legal hemp industry. Leaders of the Hemp Industry Trade Association of Arizona, its legal team, and business members will explain the court process to protect the federally legal hemp industry. Small business owners and customers will also share how the orders of the Attorney General’s Office hurt their lives and livelihoods.
