Macau authorities have arrested a 37-year-old Hong Kong woman on suspicion of drug trafficking, seizing cocaine and methamphetamine worth over MOP91,000. The arrest followed intelligence about someone smuggling drugs from Hong Kong to Macau for nightclub patrons. Further investigation led to the discovery of more drugs in the suspect’s rented hotel room with 24.26 grams of cocaine and 1.43 grams of methamphetamine seized. The police are now tracing the source and investigating the extent of the suspect’s involvement in the illicit trade.
