Fun Guyz, a company that sells magic mushrooms, was seized by the Chatham-Kent Police for over $14,000.

Chatham-Kent Police has seized magic mushrooms worth over $14,000.

The Intelligence Unit executed an Act Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on Friday, September 13 at approximately 1:30 pm at Fun Guyz, located on St. Clair Street, Chatham.

During the search, police seized more than 1,000 grams of psilocybin worth over $14,000.

The police have removed the signage that promoted the illegal sales of magic mushrooms from the building.

The business has been raided four times since it opened in May.

The company moved from its previous location at King Street West towards the end of July. However, the police were aware of this move.

The police say that the possession, sale and production of magic mushroom, psilocybin and psilocin is illegal in Canada. They urge residents to refrain from engaging in illegal activities.
