Holistic Industries has no active mold, despite the misguided reports of some ‘industry observers’. We operate one of the best cultivation facilities in the State and use best cultivation practices, including organic spraying and fogging.

If you are unfamiliar with the term “remediation”, it is a method of removing mold from flowers so they can still be sold.

We refuse to sell flower that has been remedied because we believe it compromises the quality. To be clear, we never remediate flowers, although some cultivators do so to maximize their yield. Anyone who suggests that all growers should sell remediated flowers shows that they don’t care about the quality of flower.

Grant Smith-Ellis, an independent journalist, alleges that 9/23/24

“[Holistic employees] It’s not the kind of sentence that I expected to hear but, in the world Massachusetts cannabis, anything is possible.

In the past three weeks a series stories have been published on this feed that indicate that Holistic Industries, a cannabis multi-state operator, is actively selling dangerously polluted products in Massachusetts, while at the same time brazenly flouting an agreement with state regulatory authorities at the troubled Cannabis Control Commission.

The disturbing images (taken in the last two weeks) from Holistic’s Monson cultivation facility reveal moldy product that is clearly visible. What is more alarming is that this product is being sold without any remediation.

Mold is visible on the buds and leaves of the plants harvested in the Holistic Growing Room.

A rare development is that a video leaked from Holistic’s Monson plant appears to confirm that mold, as shown in the images above.

My sources have confirmed that Holistic, after attempting to remove mold manually, uses a heavy ZeroTol mist the day before harvesting in an attempt to “clean up”, any mold left, in hopes of passing their product when required to be tested by a ostensibly independent testing lab.
