Police are searching for a man they claim robbed two Edmonton marijuana stores in a span of one week.
On September 17 at 11 pm, a man entered T’s Cannabis, located on Terwillegar Boulevard. He demanded cash from the clerk and forced him to take him to the stockroom.
He forced the clerk in the stockroom to help him fill bags of cannabis, and then he left.
Police say that on Sept. 22, at 10 p.m., the same man entered the Cannabis House located on 66 Street with a handgun.
The clerk pressed panic alarm, and the man fled from the shop.
He was last seen running along 66 Street, heading north.
The robber has been described as a white man between 5’6″ and 5’10”, with a medium build and brown shaved hair.
Police say that in both robberies he wore a fake beard and sunglasses, as well as a baseball hat.
