The German Cannabis Business Assoc writes in its latest newsletter

2024-10-29 | The Berlin Senate has passed the ordinance to implement the nationwide cannabis law. The State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Lageso) will be responsible for approving cannabis cultivation associations. The ordinance is due to come into force at the beginning of November. The districts will be responsible for implementing the list of fines and regularly monitoring the cultivation associations. A further ordinance regulating the details is expected to follow in November.

With the catalog of fines, a fine of up to 30,000 euros will be possible for importing cannabis seeds without a permit. When asked by the BvCW, the catalog of fines could not yet be sent, but publication is expected to take place shortly in the Law and Ordinance Gazette. The ordinance will come into force after publication.
