Association for women in the cannabis industry founded

2025-03-11 | The ECS EmpowHer Cannabis Society e.V. was founded in Berlin – the world’s first registered association to specifically support women in the cannabis industry. The aim is to break down barriers, facilitate access to the industry and network female players. In addition to mentoring and educational opportunities, the association focuses on political influence and entrepreneurial support. A legal and ethics council is also intended to ensure the highest standards. Membership will be possible after entry in the register of associations. The founding team includes Lisa Haag (MJ Universe GmbH & BvCW board member), Olivia Ewenike and Aleksandra Vujinović (Cannabis Law Academy) and Janika Takats (founder of the German CannaFem Network).
