Strict Requirements for Medicinal Cannabis Platforms Planned

While the ABDA and the German Medical Association (Bundesärztekammer) supported the plan, the Association of Cannabis-Supplying Pharmacies (VCA) warns of disadvantages for real patients. Platform operators are protesting the plans with campaigns. The Bundestag held its first deliberations on December 18, 2025; a final vote is expected for April 2026.
