The son hadn’t returned home after leaving without a trace. His mother became alarmed and went to report him missing to the Carabinieri. However, the woman had no idea that the boy, a 15-year-old, was lingering at the Acquedotti park with a friend, also a 16-year-old, to sell drugs. Thus, the two young men were tracked down and arrested by the Carabinieri at Rome’s Cinecittà station.
The boys were found in possession of 46 doses of hashish and €370 in cash, likely related to drug dealing. The drugs and cash were seized. The two minors were arrested red-handed and taken to the Virginia Agnelli reception center in Rome, where they will be held by the judicial authorities.
