The draft regulations changes that were Unanimous approval The Commission at the Public Meeting on July 19, 2019 The Secretary of State’s Regulations Division has received a proposal that includes the much-anticipated change of allowing delivery licensees to deliver marijuana and marijuana products with only one Marijuana Establishment registered agent in a vehicle. The proposals include a proposal that Microbusinesses be allowed to apply for other types of licenses, such as Retail and Transport Licenses; allowing Qualifying Medical patients to opt-in for telehealth consultations with a Certifying Healthcare Provider to receive their initial certification; and allowing Nurse Practitioners who have independent practices to certify qualifying patients without a supervising physician.
The Commission will review all comments received before the deadline of October 7, and may incorporate them into the final version that will be discussed at a public meeting. Please be aware that the Commission can publish or produce any submissions received in response to a Massachusetts Public Records Law (M.G.L.) request. c. 66 or SS 10 or any other legal process that is mandatory.
