A prominent New York attorney, diversity, equity, and inclusion executive, has been appointed as the new member of the top marijuana regulatory body in the Empire State. Adam Perry, who was a former member, will be replaced by the new member.

A spokesperson for the Office of Cannabis Management confirmed that Perry resigned from the Cannabis Control Board earlier this month due to personal reasons.

According to her LinkedIn Profile, Rodriguez-Dabney is “currently serving as Chief Diversity Officer and senior vice president at Roswell Park Comprehensive cancer Center.”

She was previously the first chief diversity office for Mayor Byron Brown. Rodriguez-Dabney was also chief diversity officer and chief staff at SUNY Buffalo State University between 2018 and 2022.
