The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission is already struggling with a leadership vacuum and now says it may be forced to eliminate some of their programs, including an acclaimed training initiative for applicants who are seeking social equity licenses because the Legislature did not fully fund its budget.
Officials said that the budget approved by the Legislature, and signed by Governor, provided $19.8 millions–$2.8million less than the amount requested by the agency.
