Leafly Strain of The Year Budtenders Choice Giveaway

No purchase is required to enter or win. VOID WHERE PERMITTED.

Eligibility: Leafly Strain of The Year Budtenders’ Choice Giveaway (the “Giveaway” is open to all legal residents of the United States, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Residents of other US territories and possessions are excluded. All entrants are required to be employed by a duly-licensed cannabis dispensary or retail store at the time they enter and be at least 21 at the time. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and their immediate family (including spouses and unmarried partners, parents and grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren) are not eligible to win or enter the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subjected to all applicable federal state and local laws and regulations, and is void in any jurisdiction where it is prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right at any time to verify eligibility. AVOID WHERE PERMITTED OR RESTRAINED BY LAW.

3. Acceptance of Official Rules These Official Rules will govern the Giveaway. By participating in the Giveaway you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent and warrant that your eligibility is as stated here.

4. Giveaway Period: The Giveaway starts at 11:59 pm Pacific Time (“PTThe “Term” begins on September 15, 2024 at 12 a.m. Pacific Time (the “Term”) and ends on October 15, 2024 at 12 a.m. Pacific Time (the “Term”).Giveaway Period“). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period will be disqualified. The Sponsor’s computer will be the official timekeeper for the Giveaway.

5. How to Enter:

a. To enter the Giveaway, complete the following steps (each “Entry” and collectively the “Entries“). Each entry must adhere to the Submission Guidelines listed below.

i. During the Giveaway Period go to the announcement post Complete the Leafly Strain of the Year Budtender’s Choice Survey (Survey“). The survey will ask you to:

1. Question about your favorite strains and products in 2024

2. Your name

3. Your state or province;

4. You must state the cannabis dispensary/retailer where you currently work.

5. If you are chosen as a winner, we will need your contact information and that of the cannabis dispensary/retailer where you work.

ii. Additional Entries. Follow the instructions below to receive 10 additional entries for each entrant after submitting an entry.

1) Create a video featuring the entrant’s favorite strains and products from 2024.

Share the video via Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn. (Only one share is required. Multiple videos or posts do not count towards the total number of entries.

3) Include the hashtag #LeaflyBudtendersChoice in the post; and

Tag Leafly on the social media platform that the video is shared.

b. Sponsor reserves the sole right to reject or disqualify any entry that does not conform to the Submission Guidelines, or is inappropriate, offensive, or not in keeping with Sponsor’s brand image, or if the entrant is found not to have complied with the Official Rules.

c. Limit of one (1) initial entry and up to ten (10 ) total entries per person during Giveaway Period. If you attempt to obtain more entries than permitted, Sponsor may cancel your Entries or disqualify from the Giveaway. All Entries will be void if an entrant uses robotic, repetitive, automated, programmed, or similar entry methods, or agents, including, but not restricted to, Giveaway entry service.

e. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, ENTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER ENTRY MAY BE POSTED ACROSS ANY OR ALL OF SPONSOR’S DIGITAL AND SOCIAL ASSETS, AT SPONSOR’S DISCRETION. By submitting an Entry, Sponsor and its agents are granted the right to use, adapt, edit and/or perform publicly and/or modify that Entry in any media, including advertising and marketing.

6. Submission Guidelines To be eligible to win, a Submission must meet the following guidelines (“Submission Guidelines“). “.

a. Violate any right of a third party, including copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, moral rights, privacy rights, right to publicity, or other property rights;

b. Contain any computer programming that interferes with the normal operation of your computer, such as viruses, worms or other interfering programs.

7. Winner Selection/Odds Three (3) winners will be chosen at random at 12 noon PT on October 15, 2024. The Sponsor will select the winners from all eligible Entries. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.

8. Winner Notification & Prize Acceptance The Sponsor will notify the potential winners via email and telephone by 5:00 pm PT on Oct. 15, 2024. The Sponsor may disqualify any potential winner who does not respond to the email notification within 48 hours. The winner must sign an Affidavit Of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release (where such a condition is legal) and a W-9 (for US residents). These documents are collectively known as “Prize Claim Docs”. They must be signed within five (5) days of the date the email containing these documents is sent. The Sponsor may disqualify the potential winner if they refuse to sign or return all Prize Claim documents within the five-day/time period. If the potential winner fails to provide the required information and sign the documents within the specified time period, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to another winner.

The Sponsor will not be responsible for any delays that may occur in awarding prizes. If a potential prize winner is disqualified or found to be ineligible, or not in compliance of these Official Rules, or declines to accept the prize, or, if the Sponsor or its authorized designer is unable contact the potential prize winner, or the prize is returned as undeliverable the prize could be forfeited. At the Sponsor’s discretion, this prize can be awarded to another entrant. If Sponsor, after making a good faith attempt to award or deliver the prize, is unable, the prize cannot be re-awarded. This decision will be made at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable and only include the items listed as part of each prize. No substitutions are allowed except at the sole discretion by the Sponsor. The winner is solely responsible for paying all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the prize. Each prize winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 from the Sponsor. All other costs or expenses not specifically stated herein are solely the responsibility of the winner. The winner forfeits any portion of the prize that is not accepted. Sponsor reserves the right, if a prize or any part thereof cannot be awarded, to substitute it with another prize or prize of equal value or greater value, or to declare the prize forfeited. Each potential winner could be required to provide proof of identification.
